How to Prepare Clothing Photos

This page explains how to prepare photos that are qualified for creating a clothing model.

Please note: All photos must be taken of the model wearing clothes, with a clear face. Photos of clothes only, without models, are absolutely not allowed, please remember this.

If you don’t have a photo that meets the standards, don’t worry, you can use many ready-made tools to generate it. Please ref to the sub page (How if I can't find photos that meets the criteria?)

1、A Full Body Photo

  1. Frontal, full body photo

  2. Keep your arms drooped and open, and do not keep your arms close to your body

  3. The face is clear, without masks, sunglasses, etc.

  4. Only clothes please, no mobile phones, bags, flowers and other sundries

  5. If the model has long hair, do not let the hair cover the clothes and push the hair behind the back.

Our UE designer will use this photo to complete the texture binding between our large 3D human model and your photo. I believe you can understand why hair, bags, mobile phones, etc. cannot be covered, and the arms must be open.

2、2~10 Multi-pose and multi-view photos

  1. Please guide the model to pose in more diverse poses

  2. The face is clear, without masks, sunglasses, etc.

  3. Only clothes please, no mobile phones, bags, flowers and other sundries

  4. If the model has long hair, do not let the hair cover the clothes and push the hair behind the back.

These photos will be used for texture binding in more poses, Just naturally assume some common postures in daily life.
